Christmas Cards for Veterans

During the holiday season, members of the Rotary Club of Meriwether County came together to honor those who have served our country by preparing and sending 200 Christmas cards to veterans. Club members took time to personally sign and address each card, sharing messages of gratitude, encouragement, and holiday cheer.

The cards were delivered to veterans residing in a nursing home as well as those receiving care at the VA Hospital in Atlanta. For many veterans who may spend the holidays away from family or loved ones, these simple gestures serve as meaningful reminders that their service and sacrifice are remembered and appreciated.

This project reflected Rotary’s commitment to service and community care, demonstrating that even small acts of kindness can bring comfort, connection, and appreciation to those who have given so much in service to others.
